The traditional product life-cycle BI process actually interferes with the creative process. I use a more flexible and collaborative process, which is also much faster.
Tableau allows you to take the data and design as you go; building the story based on what you find in the data and what would be meaningful to the user.
Together, we will build dashboards that inform the user, rather than provide them with a means to slice and dice and hunt for the information for themselves.
